Safran Aerosystems designs and manufactures an extensive range of specialist flexible pipes and sub-assemblies for low and medium pressure fluid transfers for application in the aeronautic, defence, automotive and wider industrial sectors. Manufactured using convoluted PTFE or elastomer; these products are designed to withstand harsh and safety-critical environments, including high temperatures. Safran Aerosystems is able to design customised flexible pipes to optimise weight, overall dimensions and cost, as well as manufactures rigid pipes for aeronautic applications.
For applications subject to high currents and voltages, Safran Aerosystems can supply strip contacts and power connectors that guarantee low contact resistance, reduced heat generation, together with a high current density and number of operating cycles.
